My journey into portraiture began upon my departure in news production. I wanted to sharpen my edge by learning how to be a portrait photographer. It wasn't enough to solely create and direct the concepts in my head. I wanted to capture the essence of every person I met and give them their next favorite photograph—not because of their beauty, but because of the light they shared with me during our session. It's a special thing to be able to see people and to show it back to them in an artistic way.
